February 8, 2011 – Sal Masekela and TSO Studios announce the signing of skate icon Paul Rodriguez to the TSO Skate team. As the company’s first skate signing, P Rod will be the Featured Skater in their mobile, video based instructional app TSO Skate which is slated for exclusive release on iTunes in late March.
Known for his extremely technical and consistent style of street skating, Rodriguez is a huge coup for the company and sets the tone for the type of action sports athletes they are looking to sign. “Weʼre setting the bar as high as we can by signing athletes like P Rod. Riders that arenʼt just the best in the world, but that also really want to give hands-on, personal instruction to help riders at all levels progress,” says Masekela.
Look for more rider signings coming soon as TSO continues to announce their arrival on the action sports scene.
Whether you’re just learning to ride or are looking to take your skills to the next level, TSO has got you covered with our Action Sports Series of how-to apps for your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
No more sitting in your living room or at your computer watching videos to learn your favorite tricks. TSO takes all the info you need from the best riders in the world and puts it directly where you want it: in the palm of your hand.
All apps come with beginner, intermediate, and advanced trick sets (10 tricks per set) with every trick featuring detailed step-by-step instruction written by the world’s top riders as well as video of the pros showing you how it’s done — once at full speed and then again in slow motion with on-screen text boxes to show you what they’re doing and when they’re doing it.
But we’re not stopping there. Each app comes with its own in-app store that will be updated every month with a new Pro Set from the biggest names in action sports. Every pro set will feature ten tricks and include the same style of written instruction and video that comes with the app itself.
TSO… helping the world progress one trick at a time.
